Like Mother Like Daughter

Rut-roh.  My oldest dropped her phone in the toilet.  Does this happen more often than people are willing to admit?  Right now, it's dehydrating in a bag of rice. Let's hope the grain resurrects it.

Last week marked 365 consecutive days of a pee-pee free phone for me.  Let's hope that my daughter can follow that example of mine too.

  1. There are times that genetic predisposition rears its ugly head in the most astounding ways. For us, its the inability to lie convincingly. All of us.

Also, my eldest washed his phone, on purpose, in order to force me into buying him a new one. Its sitting on the counter, and he remains phoneless. I hope the rice works!!

  2. Whoa! Way to call his bluff, momma! Why don't you take a picture of the useless phone, wrap it up, and place it under the Christmas tree? Or, maybe it should be dropped down the stocking in place of a lump of coal!
